Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Temporary Sanitation Associate in Phoenix, AZ to maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment. The role offers weekly pay and a daytime schedule (Mon-Fri, 9:00 am–5:00 pm) with hourly compensation of $17.00.

You will help keep restrooms, break rooms, and work areas sanitary and orderly, supporting overall distribution operations across the US. The position requires reading codes, good communication, teamwork, and flexibility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more previous warehouse experience preferred.
• May require equipment certification depending on location.
• Ability to read location, date and product codes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build professional relationships at all levels.
• Capable of working independently or in a team and staying flexible.

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms, break room, locker room, and office areas per sanitation schedule.
• Clean exterior areas including windows and walkways; empty trash as per schedule.
• Sweep and scrub warehouse floors and office areas per sanitation schedule.
• Wipe down racks, guard rails, and walls per sanitation schedule.
• Perform additional duties as assigned; overtime as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and tour-ready facility; assist with light maintenance.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $17.00 per hour

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Ryder Warehouse Associates work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment

• Products Being Handled: Aerospace supplies

• Equipment Being Used: Sanitation items

Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred

• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified

• Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)

• Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed.

• Maintains a safe, clean, and tour ready facility.

• Assist Maintenance Techs as required and light maintenance activities such as painting.
