Job summary

Performance Foodservice, a PFG broadline distributor, is seeking a Sanitation, Warehouse associate to maintain a clean and safe facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.

Responsibilities include following safety policies, reporting unsafe conditions, and completing cleaning-related training modules. A High School Diploma or GED and 6+ months sanitation experience are required, with pallet jack experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
