Job summary

ADUSA Distribution is seeking a Sanitation Associate to maintain sanitation standards and provide a clean, safe work environment in the distribution center. The role involves removing debris, cleaning equipment, and following established sanitation procedures to support efficient operations.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 60 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a warehouse with varying conditions. Training for powered equipment may be provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Able to reach, stoop, bend and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (cool temps, concrete floors, powered industrial trucks).
• Able to work the needed schedule to perform assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Pick up debris, empty trash cans, remove spills promptly; dust racks, doors, lights, etc.
• Sweep and mop slots.
• Clean sanitation equipment, including sanitation boxes and mops.
• Sweep and scrub floors and outside areas to ensure safety and efficiency of the distribution center.
• Maintain equipment daily, topping off fluids and cleaning brushes and washing equipment.
• Follow good sanitation practices; keep work area clean and free of debris.
• Report equipment and pallet jack problems to maintenance.
• Make recommendations for modifications to procedures to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with ADUSA Distribution standards in accuracy, safety and productivity.
