Job summary

US Foods, Inc. in Charlotte is seeking a Night Sanitation Worker to clean and maintain the warehouse and related facilities. You will sweep, empty trash, clean product bays, monitor for spills, and assist with light maintenance while following safety and food-safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• High School education or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial/sanitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and cleans the entire warehouse to maintain cleanliness.
• Empties trash bins and cleans trash area daily; uses trash compactor when applicable.
• Picks pallets and cleans/scrubs product bays on a rotating basis.
• Cleans spills or breakages and assesses damage for disposal per safety rules.
• Performs light maintenance duties (bulbs, recycling, packaging waste, leaks checks).
• Maintains cleaning schedules and may order supplies.
• Cleans other areas of the warehouse and offices as needed.
• Operates scrubber, pallet jack, and high lift when required.
