Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company in Edmond, OK is seeking a hardworking Facilities Associate responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and preventive maintenance of equipment and production areas. The role may involve forklift and hand lift operation, following safety and S.S.O.P.

guidelines to keep the department ready for production. Candidates should be able to read simple instructions, communicate in English, and work in a team-driven, results-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize machinery, equipment, floors, walls, and ceilings per schedule.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment per schedule.
• Inspect department and ensure readiness for production per SOP.
• Operate forklifts/hand lifts to move products as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and report injuries or issues.
• Report problems to supervisor and follow company policies.

• Ensure that machinery, equipment, floors, walls, and ceilings are properly cleaned and sanitized according to schedule.
• Conduct necessary preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment according to schedule.
• Conduct final inspection of the department to ensure that it is clean and ready for production according to company S.S.O.P.'s.
• May operate forklifts, and hand lifts to move product from one area to another.
• Work safely under all conditions and procedures.
• Report work related injuries and illnesses to supervisor.
• Report any process or equipment problems to supervisor.
• Follow policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Perform all duties accurately and efficiently.
