Job summary

The role involves routine janitorial work, facility maintenance, and aiding warehouse teams with inventory organization and deliveries. Key responsibilities include sanitation of floors, waste management, warehouse assistance, adherence to safety guidelines, restocking supplies, and basic maintenance of cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina to stand or walk for extended periods and lift heavy items.
• Understanding of OSHA safety and sanitation protocols.
• Reliability and strong communication; ability to follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Facility Sanitation: Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors in warehouses, corporate offices, and break areas.
• Waste Management: Empty trash receptacles, dispose of cardboard, and ensure hazardous materials are handled properly.
• Warehouse Support: Assist heavy-duty warehouse staff or order pickers by moving pallets, organizing inventory, and sweeping loading docks.
• Safety Compliance: Clean up spills, remove debris from walkways to prevent workplace accidents, and strictly adhere to FDA and OSHA food safety guidelines.
• Restock Supplies: Replenish cleaning and sanitation stations, as well as break-room supplies.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic, routine maintenance on cleaning machinery or alert facility managers to equipment malfunctions.
