Job summary

Sysco Buckhead Meat of Denver, Inc. is seeking a Sanitation Associate to perform custodial care and sanitation duties across the warehouse under general supervision, ensuring safety and productivity.

This role supports upkeep of all areas, including floors, coolers, and equipment, with emphasis on cleanliness and compliance with HACCP and OSHA standards. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of warehouse experience, and must be 18+.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 1 year warehouse-related experience and/or training.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Read and write simple correspondence and understand instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a loud warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties throughout the facility including dusting, sweeping, washing, wiping, scrubbing, shoveling, and mopping.
• Maintain sanitary conditions; collect and dispose of waste daily and clean spills.
• Clean coolers, floors, aisles, and mezzanine; scrub floors in dry areas and docks.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and ensure it is maintained.
• Complete daily sanitation log for planning and evaluation of activities.
• Follow safety rules and company policies; report unsafe conditions.
