Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates who are safety minded with a friendly attitude to excel in a busy warehouse environment. The role offers a competitive wage and robust benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401K and PTO.

Responsibilities include cleaning, pallet movement, sanitation logging, and operating forklifts. A high school diploma is preferred and training will cover safety and the warehouse management system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and follow directions.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Safety-conscious with a pleasant attitude.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, and vacuuming surfaces.
• Empties trash bins and cleans trash area daily; operates trash compactor when applicable.
• Pulls pallets and clean/scrubs product bays on a rotating basis.
• Cleans spills or damaged products per food safety standards and determines disposal.
• Cleans other areas of the warehouse and offices, including break rooms and restrooms.
• Complete daily sanitation logs and use chemicals/equipment safely.
• Operate scrubber and pallet jacks as required.
• Identify and address sanitation issues; escalate to supervisor.
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to move stored items between locations.
