Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Sanitation, Warehouse associate for a Sunday-Thursday shift from 4:00pm to 1:00am. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas, and may involve office areas.

Responsibilities include following health and safety policies, reporting hazards, and performing cleaning tasks with proper chemical handling. Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose

The Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.
