Job summary

Core-Mark International in Tampa, FL is seeking a dedicated Sanitation/Warehouse Associate to perform janitorial and sanitation tasks across dry, cooler, and freezer areas, helping maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of sanitation or janitorial experience.

Ability to lift 10–35 pounds, work in multi-temperature environments, stand for long periods, and overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products weighing 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer)
• Shift starts at 3pm

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines
• Reports unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates
• Performs cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup
• Handles cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets
• May operate pallet jack to transport refuse/trash
• Completes all assignments timely and accurately
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Position Purpose:

The Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation-related job tasks in the warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience
• Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry
