Job summary

Core-Mark International, based in Minneapolis, seeks a Sanitation Associate to maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment and support health standards. You will perform janitorial tasks across dry, cooler and freezer areas, and may assist in office spaces as needed.

Key requirements include a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 6 months sanitation or janitorial experience, plus a post-offer drug test and background check. This is a full-time, first-shift role with steady weekday hours.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to health and safety policies.
• Reports unsafe conditions or acts to ensure safety.
• Performs cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup.
• Handles cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat sheets.
• Completes required Pure Safety training modules.
• May operate pallet jack to transport refuse to receptacles.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Shift: M-TH 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM; Fri 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Position Purpose:

We value the safety and health of our associates! The Sanitation, Warehouse ensures the health and safety of all our associates by always maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

The Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
