Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a dedicated sanitation associate in Sanford, NC to uphold cleanliness in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role involves cleaning duties, safe chemical handling, and following health and safety policies.

The position runs Sunday through Thursday, 2:00 PM until work is finished, in cooler and freezer areas, with pay of $16.50 per hour and benefits starting Day 1. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, 6+ months janitorial experience, and the ability to pass post-offer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments accurately and on time.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Details:

• Pay: $16.50/hr.
• Schedule: Sunday - Thursday
