Performance Food Group (New) is seeking a Sanitation worker in Orlando, Florida, to maintain a clean and safe workplace. This position involves janitorial duties in various warehouse zones including freezer, cooler, and dry areas.

Qualifications

• Performs cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and trash pickup.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.

Position Purpose

We value the safety and health of our associates! The Sanitation, Warehouse ensures the health and safety of all our associates by always maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

The Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent

Must be able to work all three warehouse zones; Freezer, Cooler and Dry.

Must be available to work assigned schedule: Sunday thru Thursday 9:00pm - 5:30am.

Preferred Qualifications

6-12 months of general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience in warehouse environment.

Pallet jack experience.

Pallet Jack professional certification.
