Job summary

PFG Customized is seeking a Warehouse Sanitation associate in Florida to maintain a clean and safe workspace. The role involves general janitorial tasks in warehouse areas (Dry, Cooler, Freezer) and may include office areas as assigned.

Key duties include following safety policies, handling cleaning chemicals per hazmat sheets, and completing required training modules. The position runs Monday through Friday from 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM, with background check and drug test requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 6 months of general sanitation, cleaning or janitorial work in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work all three warehouse zones: Freezer, Cooler and Dry.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 4AM-12:30PM; post-offer drug test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Completes work according to health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports unsafe conditions or acts to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat sheets.
• Completes Pure Safety training modules timely and accurately.
• May operate pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to receptacles.
• Completes assignments timely and accurately.
• May work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose:

The Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6 months of general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to work all three warehouse zones; Freezer, Cooler and Dry.
• Must be available to work assigned schedule: Monday - Friday 4AM-12:30PM
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
