Dynalectric Arizona is seeking a Warehouse Safety Manager to enforce safety programs on site in Mesa, AZ. The role focuses on reducing injury risk, coordinating incident investigations, and guiding fabrication safety practices across teams.

You will lead safety protocols, create incident reports, manage workers' compensation aspects, and collaborate with maintenance and field crews to keep operations compliant and efficient.

Competenze

• BSc/BA in safety management or relevant is preferred.
• 3-5 years of proven safety experience (fabrication preferred).
• EMT or equivalent certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 & 30, 1910.
• Experience with fabrication style gantry crane preferred.
• Working knowledge of legal health and safety guidelines.
• Proven knowledge of risk assessment.

Job Title: Warehouse Safety Manager - Mesa, AZ

Job purpose

The Warehouse Safety Manager (WSM) serves as an on-site specialist in safety by implementing best practices and procedures within the company that effectively control accident and health exposures and minimize OSHA citations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Educate/train Fabrication and Prefab labor about safety measures
• Assist in case management of incidents
• Assist in post-incident investigations
• Maintain accident reports/recordsManage accident / safety claims as they occur (accompany employee to urgent care)
• Write initial incident reports (by occurrence)
• Manage return to work / modified duty claims
• Assist in set-up of safety protocols and processes for Fabrication and Prefabrication under the direction of the Arizona Safety Director
• Perform Fabrication area inspections (reports)
• Manage crane lift plans and maintenance schedules
• Ensure company safety policies and procedures are followed
• Maintain Fabrication and Prefabrication Safety Committee
• Work with building maintenance to ensure safety protocols are being followed and reports are completed
• Maintain emergency response plan for Fabrication area

Qualifications

• BSc/BA in safety management or relevant is preferred

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Warehouse Safety Manager to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The WSM is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

Primarily fabrication-based, but some office-based work will be included. Typical working hours for the WSM may vary. Generally Monday – Friday during normal business hours, but when safety incidents occur, they may be required to work longer hours as assigned, including some weekend work. Some travel may be required for training/continuing education.

While performing the duties of this job, the WSM may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration; may be exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites (weather, noise, etc.).
