Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and conduct classroom training for industrial truck operation.
  • Maintain safety and hazmat documentation.
  • Conduct safety and hazmat training sessions.
  • Develop and communicate safety topics and training materials.
  • Assist with safety meetings and investigations.
  • Document incidents and safety compliance status.
  • Manage safety and hazmat improvement actions.
  • Track injuries, incidents, and near misses.
  • Report safety issues and conduct compliance audits.
  • Maintain 'Train the Trainer' certifications for relevant safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2-4 years related experience or equivalent education.
  • Experience with warehouse equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret instructions and organize safety audits and training.
  • Proven presentation skills.
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence.

Environment:

Regular use of hands, sitting, reaching, talking, standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 15 pounds. Exposure to mechanical parts, vehicles, lighting, and climate conditions.
