Qualifications

• 1-2 years of foodservice/hospitality warehouse experience; similar venue experience a plus.
• Food service certification.
• Flexible work schedule. Must be able to work weekends as needed.
• The employee is frequently required to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Stock concession stands and portable locations for events.
• Maintain inventory control, sanitation, presentation, and quality standards.
• Ensure cleanliness of concession stands by removing trash and recyclables.
• Rotate food products during stocking to ensure freshness for guests.
• Uphold warehouse upkeep: sweeping, mopping, organizing storage areas, and washing dishes.
• Maintain storage areas in neat, organized, sanitary condition.
• Deliver items per requisitions and FIFO rotation.
• Maintain security of all storage areas by keeping them locked.
• Assist with monthly inventory and note upcoming inventory needs.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Runner plays a key role in supporting concession operations by stocking stands, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring products are readily available during events. Responsibilities include receiving and organizing deliveries, rotating stock, storing inventory in the warehouse, and assisting the concessions team as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, team-oriented, and committed to maintaining excellent attendance in accordance with company policy. Currently h iring runners for the 2026-2027 event schedule.

This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00 - $18.00 and is tip eligible.

About The Venue

The Denny Sandford Premier Center is an event center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, that seats up 12,000 fans for concerts, comedians, and all types of sporting events.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for helping set up and stocking all concession stands and portable locations.
• Maintain a focus on attention to detail, including company standards of inventory control, sanitation, presentation, and quality.
• Ensure the cleanliness of all concession stands by removing all trash and recyclables.
• Responsible for rotating food products during the stocking process to ensure the freshest products are being served to guests.
• Responsible for the upkeep of the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, organizing storage areas, and cleaning commissary dishes.
• Keep all storage areas and inventory in neat, organized, and sanitary condition as directed.
• Deliver items according to requisitions and place inventory in a proper fashion using the FIFO method of rotation (First-In-First-Out).
• Responsible for maintaining the overall security of all storage areas by ensuring that all areas are properly locked and protected.
• Assist with monthly inventory as directed.
• Make note of any inventory that is needed to complete upcoming events.
