Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of foodservice / hospitality warehouse experience; similar venue experience a plus.
• Food service certification.
• Flexible work schedule. Must be able to work weekends as needed.
• Previous experience stocking concessions is a plus.
• The employee is frequently required to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for helping set up and stocking all concession stands and portable locations.
• Attention to detail, including inventory control, sanitation, presentation, and quality, is required.
• Ensure cleanliness of all concession stands by removing trash and recyclables.
• Rotate food products during stocking to ensure freshness for guests.
• Upkeep of the warehouse: sweeping, mopping, organizing storage areas, and cleaning commissary dishes.
• Keep storage areas organized and sanitary.
• Maintain FIFO rotation for inventory.
• Ensure storage areas are locked and protected for security.
• Assist with monthly inventory.
• Note items needed for upcoming events.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Runner plays a key role in supporting concession operations by stocking stands, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring products are readily available during events. Responsibilities include receiving and organizing deliveries, rotating stock, storing inventory in the warehouse, and assisting the concessions team as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, team-oriented, and committed to maintaining excellent attendance in accordance with company policy.

This role pays an hourly rate ranging from $15.00 - $17.00.

About The Venue

The Macon Centreplex is comprised of the Macon Coliseum, Macon City Auditorium, and Atrium Health Amphitheater. The Macon Coliseum is home to tenant hockey team, the Macon Mayhem, and seats 9,000 patrons. Family shows, concerts, trade shows, GHSA, among others, are frequent entertainment in the venue. The Macon City Auditorium first opened in 1925 and has hosted iconic greats like Otis Redding, The Allman Brothers, and Little Richard. The venue hosts concerts, weddings, private galas, and comedy shows, among other events, in its 2,500-seat space. The 10,000-capacity Atrium Health Amphitheater opened in Spring of 2024 with concerts, comedy shows, graduations, and community events.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for helping set up and stocking all concession stands and portable locations.
• Attention to detail, including company standards of inventory control, sanitation, presentation, and quality, is always required.
• Ensure the cleanliness of all concession stands by removing all trash and recyclables.
• Responsible for rotating food products during the stocking process to ensure the freshest products are being served to guests.
• Responsible for the upkeep of the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, organizing storage areas, and cleaning commissary dishes.
• Requires keeping all storage areas and inventory in neat, organized, and sanitary condition as directed.
• Deliver items according to requisitions and place inventory in a proper fashion using the FIFO method of rotation (First-In-First-Out).
• Responsible for maintaining the overall security of all storage areas by ensuring that all areas are properly locked and protected.
• Assist with monthly inventory as directed.
• Make note of any inventory that is needed to complete upcoming events.
