Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Warehouse Runner/Attendant to receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment and products. The role supports the warehouse team in processing orders, labeling items, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Earns $20.40 per hour in a fast-paced environment with adherence to HACCP standards and safety policies. This position is based in Chicago, IL and reports to the Warehouse department.

Qualifications

• Reads production schedule to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Uses computer to enter records and track inventory.

Responsibilities

• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
• Conveys materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Places materials/goods on racks, shelves and bins according to predetermined sequence.
• Fulfills requisitions and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Opens containers and records amounts of materials received or distributed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains inventory records and ensures proper presentation and temperatures as per HACCP standards.
