Job summary

ASM Global in Fresno is seeking a part-time stocker to manage stocking and rotation of products at concession locations, daily. You will assist in receiving, storage, and upkeep of foodservice equipment, with prior foodservice experience preferred.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to work solo or as part of a team during events.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; or 6 months foodservice experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Stocking and rotating products using FIFO at concession locations.
• Assist with receiving and storage of products and maintenance of equipment.
• Set up and tear down concession locations for events.
• Follow directions from Warehouse Supervisor and assist with inventory recording.
• Launder concession uniforms and assist with cleaning of equipment.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the stocking and rotation of products at all concession locations on a daily basis. This position will also assist in receiving and storage of all products and maintenance and cleaning of foodservice equipment. Prior experience within a foodservice environment is essential.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Rotates inventory practicing FIFO (first in, first out)
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of warehouse and concession stands
• Product transfers; pre-event and during event, ensures proper storage
• Set-up and tear-down of portable concession locations
• Follow and receive direction from Warehouse Supervisor
• Assist with recording of monthly inventory
• Assist with the laundering of concession uniforms
• Assist with cleaning of foodservice equipment including fryers, grills and other equipment

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide (basic mathematics skills)
• Ability to communicate and execute instructions via radio (walkie talkie)
• Ability to regularly move and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work within a "team" oriented environment
• Requires the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays

QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 months foodservice experience and/or training; fast food experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
