The Greater Rochester Habitat ReStore Associate helps run daily store operations, assisting shoppers, donors, and volunteers. Duties include processing merchandise, organizing donations, driving the donation truck, and representing Habitat for Humanity's mission to build homes and communities.

Based in Rochester, NY, the role combines retail and warehouse work, in all weather, with standing and movement throughout the day. A strong customer-service mindset and volunteer leadership are essential.

Formación

• Valid NYS Driver’s License and insurable driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly, heavier with assistance.
• Retail and customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, multilingual is a plus.
• Comfortable standing, bending, and moving throughout the day.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

About the Role

The ReStore Associate supports daily store operations, helping shoppers, donors, and volunteers. This includes assisting customers, processing and moving merchandise, organizing donations, and supporting volunteers. Associates also drive ReStore trucks to pick up donations, load/unload items, and serve as ambassadors of Habitat for Humanity's mission to build homes, communities, and hope!

• Receive, price, and organize donated items
• Maintain clean, safe, and inviting store and warehouse spaces

Work Environment

Retail store, warehouse, and on-the-road (in all weather). Noise and physical activity are frequent.
