Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is hiring a Warehouse Distribution Specialist to support receiving, replenishing, picking, packing and shipping within our distribution center in Georgia. You will verify paperwork and manage materials in our warehouse system, performing quality control checks and helping maintain a safe, orderly environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in a warehouse setting, experience with hand-held scanners, and OSHA forklift certification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 3 years of progressively responsible experience in a warehouse distribution setting.
• Experience using hand-held scan devices in a warehouse or storeroom setting.
• OSHA or comparable certification with fork lift or lift truck experience required.

Responsibilities

Effective product management in accordance to distribution center processes including - receiving, replenishing, picking, packing and shipping. Accurate verification and completion of paperwork and of materials management and warehouse system steps for completion of the product distribution processes. Performing proper inventory maintenance activities through quality control steps and adherence to distribution center policies and procedures. Operating material handling equipment. Performing delivery driver duties as needed. Maintaining a safe and clean distribution environment.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• 3 years of progressively responsible experience in a warehouse distribution setting. Experience using hand-held scan devices in a warehouse or storeroom setting. OSHA or comparable certification with fork lift or lift truck experience in a warehouse setting Required
