Job summary

Williams Distributing Co. and Shoemaker Inc., part of Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, Inc., is seeking a Warehouse & Relief Driver in Mishawaka, IN to support warehouse operations and local deliveries.

You will off-load, pick, stage, keep inventory, and serve as backup driver for local routes, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and excellent customer service.

Must meet DOT requirements, have 1+ year of truck experience, valid license, pass DOT test, and maintain clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Placement as driver contingent on successful completion of DOT road test, pre-employment drug & alcohol testing, and background check.
• DMV record cannot reflect more than 2 moving violations or preventable accidents in past 3 years.
• Must pass DOT standards.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient in MS Office including Outlook & Excel, Mincron, and a scanner.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load/unload and transfer materials.
• Receive, stock, and organize inventory in designated locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Complete will calls and prepare orders for delivery or pickup.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and safety through daily inspections and housekeeping.
