Job summary

Williams Distributing Co. and Shoemaker Inc., part of Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, Inc., is seeking a Driver/Delivery Associate to load, unload, and deliver HVAC products to customer sites and branches.

You will manage inventory, prepare orders, and maintain accurate logs while ensuring safety and DOT compliance. The role requires operating company vehicles, supporting warehouse tasks, and providing courteous service to customers.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license in the employing state.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and driving safety rules.
• At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving within the last 3 years.
• DOT road test, pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, and background check required.
• DMV record with ≤2 moving violations/accidents in last 3 years.
• Clean driving record and pass DOT standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook & Excel), Mincron, and a scanner.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment to load/unload and transfer materials.
• Receive, stock, and organize inventory; maintain accurate records.
• Complete will calls and prepare orders for delivery or pickup.
• Deliver products to customer sites; load, secure, and inspect vehicles.
• Maintain DOT compliance and safety through daily checks and logs.
• Assist front counter or branch operations as needed.
