Job summary

Freight Handlers in Assonet, MA is hiring for a full-time warehouse associate. Unload cardboard bales with forklift, move pallets, sweep, pressure wash trailers, operate trash compactors, and help keep a fast-paced operation running safely and efficiently. We offer weekly pay, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) and PTO.

Shift options include 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, and 11:00 PM–7:30 AM; 5 days per week with some weekends. Prior warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 25–80 lb cases and move pallets daily.
• Able to work in temperatures from -20°F to 110°F.
• Warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Must follow safety guidelines and be reliable.

Responsibilities

• Unload cardboard bales using a forklift.
• Move stacks of pallets or bins/totes with a pallet jack.
• Sweep and pressure wash refrigerated and grocery trailers.
• Operate trash compactors and balers for recyclables.
• Consolidate cardboard and maintain organized work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership to meet goals.
