Job summary

Freight Handlers is seeking a warehouse associate to unload trailers, break down and restack pallets, and move 25–80 lb cases. You will operate forklifts or powered pallet jacks with training provided, while adapting to temperatures from -20°F to 110°F.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability. Duties include lifting, walking, bending, and standing for long shifts as part of a 5-day work week with weekly pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience preferred (order picking, forklift, etc.) but not required.
• Able to lift, walk, bend, and twist most of the workday.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English for effective communication.
• Skills/Knowledge: Basic math and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers, break down and restack pallets, and move 25–80 lbs.
• Safely unload tractor-trailers in a fast-paced warehouse setting
• Operate forklifts & powered pallet jacks (training provided)
• Break down and restack pallets
• Handle freight weighing 25-80 lbs throughout the shift
• Work in varied warehouse temperatures (-20°F to 110°F)
• Lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and squat throughout shift
• Move 50–200+ pallets daily
• Must be able to hear and respond to alarms

What You’ll Do:

• This is a hands-on role focused on unloading trailers, breaking down and restacking pallets, and moving 25–80 lbs., with powered equipment used as needed.
• Safely unload tractor-trailers in a fast-paced warehouse setting
• Operate forklifts & powered pallet jacks (training provided)
• Break down and restack pallets
• Handle freight weighing 25-80 lbs throughout the shift
• Work in varied warehouse temperatures (from -20°F to 110°F)
• Work Conditions: Lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and squat throughout shift
• Handle 25–80 lb cases; move 50–200+ pallets daily
• Work in temperatures from -20°F to 110°F
• Must be able to hear and respond to speech, alarms, and safety alerts in moderate to loud environments

What We’re Looking For:

• 1st Shift starts at either at 1 am, 3 am or 9 am in the morning until complete.
• 3rd Shift starts at either 6 pm, 8 pm, or 10 pm at night until complete.
• 5 day work week.
• Operations run 7 days a week and schedules may include weekends.
• Warehouse experience preferred (order picking, forklift, etc.) but not required.
• Able to lift, walk, bend, and twist most of the workday.
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
• Reliable and willing to work scheduled shifts.
• Skills/Knowledge: Basic math and attention to detail.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English for effective communication.
• Follow directions and work safely.
• Respectful and professional with others.
• Able to work well in a team environment.
