Job summary

You will operate scanning hardware, log storage locations, and ensure accurate fulfillment while upholding strict safety and asset security protocols. The role requires standing, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a schedule from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and a casual benefits approach until conversion.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced warehouse or distribution environments.
• Knowledge of inventory scanning systems and shipping preparation processes.
• Ability to stand for extended shifts, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to pass a standard background check.
• Punctual, collaborative mindset with a focus on safety and asset security.

Responsibilities

• Process orders: Scan carton barcodes and log accurate storage locations using the Safekeeper system.
• Prepare shipments: Investigate order discrepancies, manifest outgoing materials, and securely bundle containers for transport.
• Handle physical materials: Safely lift, move, and stack 50 to 100 cartons weighing 25 to 50 pounds per hour using standard warehouse tools and carts.
• Maintain facility equipment: Inspect and operate scanning hardware, wedge terminals, ladders, and safety gear to ensure reliable daily operations.
• Uphold security and safety: Follow strict safety protocols, report hazards, and collaborate with teammates to resolve fulfillment issues quickly.
