Job summary

OneSource Distributors in San Leandro, CA, is seeking a warehouse associate to maintain inventory, pick and pack orders, load and unload materials, and verify quantities for drivers and customers.

You will operate RF scanners and handheld devices, document shipments, perform cycle counts, and work in a warehouse environment. Prior electrical/industrial distribution experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; or
• 6 months of related experience and/or training; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Electrical, Industrial and/or distribution experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
• Read orders such as customer, work, shipping and transfer orders to determine products to be moved, gathered or distributed.
• Load, unload, and move materials from storage to staging sites and/or designated areas per each sales ticket.
• Properly wrap, label, and mark material for easy identification and loading.
• Utilizing manual lifts, reach trucks and transfer equipment (requires applicable safety and operational training)
• Operating RF scanners and other hand-held devices
• Use Eclipse to confirm picking and staging of materials, ensuring proper piece count for drivers and customers.
• Document shipments and changes in inventory using Eclipse.
• Complete cycle counts and verifies quantities of stock on request.
