Job summary

Wood Personnel Services, Inc. in White House, TN is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Receiving Clerk for a climate-controlled facility. These are temp-to-hire opportunities.

Pay is $18/hour with a Monday–Wednesday and Friday 8:00–4:30 schedule and Thursday 7:30–4:30. Benefits include paid holidays, medical/dental/life insurance, weekly pay, and an employee referral bonus.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving experience required.
• Stand up forklift experience required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Team player with the ability to multitask.
• Comfortable with occasional lifting up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming trucks and inspect skids/materials for damage.
• Complete receiving paperwork and accurately log materials into system.
• Move and organize materials throughout the warehouse.
• Operate a forklift to put materials away and receive materials from 3-tier racks.
• Move boxes weighing up to approximately 50lbs as needed.
• Occasionally open bags of raw materials and prepare small samples for testing.
• Keep area clean, organized, and in good working condition.
• Prioritize tasks and requests based on urgency.
