Job summary

CITY HOME is hiring a Receiving Associate in Florida. The role is based in OCOEE with a base rate of $18/hour and potential increases to $20.50/hour based on tenure. The package includes extensive benefits and opportunities for advancement.

The position requires physical ability to lift, move and inspect products, with a 40‑hour workweek including weekends. Pre‑employment checks apply and on‑the‑job training is provided.

Qualifications

• No High School diploma required.
• Warehouse/distribution center experience preferred but not required.
• Full‑Time 40 Hours per week, hours 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM, includes weekends.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs+, stand, bend and walk.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Unload products using proper material handling techniques to minimize damages and injuries.
• Attach labels to products and verify SKUs and bar codes for accuracy.
• Verify purchase orders for received products.
• Examine products for damages and document reasons.
• Operate order pickers and tuggers safely.
• Stage products in correct zones with proper handling.

What This Role Is

Pay Rate: $18/hr
Compensation: This Receiving Associate role in Plant City starts with a base hourly rate of $18.00, with opportunities to advance up to $20.50 through tenure‑based increases. The compensation is complemented by an extensive benefits package.

What You’ll Do

• Unload products utilizing proper material handling techniques and equipment to minimize damages and prevent personal injury
• Attach labels to products and verify SKUs and product information to ensure bar code accuracy and reduce inventory variances
• Verify purchase orders to confirm accuracy of product received
• Examine product for damages, notify Supervisors of damaged products, and document reasons for damages
• Operate order pickers and tuggers in a safe manner
• Stage products in accurate zones and utilize proper handling techniques to minimize damages

What’s Required

  • Full‑Time 40 Hours per week, must be available between the hours of 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM
