ReaderLink is a leading book distributor in the U.S. seeking a warehouse associate to handle receiving, inventory updates, and precise packing verification. You will verify orders, measure and log items, and ensure accurate stock placement in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role requires sit-down forklift experience, the ability to stand for long periods, and physical stamina to lift and move heavy items while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have sit-down forklift experience.
• Able to stand up to 8 hours, and walk up to an hour daily.
• Must have no fear of heights.
• Occasionally push/pull from 11–25 pounds.
• Frequently bend, stoop, reach, crouch, kneel, and push/pull from 36–50 pounds.
• Regularly carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral depth perception.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively with coworkers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Receives Bill of Lading and checks accuracy.
• Enters PO number, pallets, date, carrier, and count into the inventory system.
• Breaks down delivery by book title using packing slip for accuracy.
• Verifies book title against packing slip and links product to location.
• Weights/measures items and records dimensions in the system.
• Attaches license plate sticker for identification and tracking.
• Follows safety rules and maintains a clean work environment.
• Supports inventory cycle counts.
