Job summary

Martin Bros. Distributing Co., Inc. is hiring a Receiving Associate for our Cedar Falls Distribution Center. The role involves operating an electric pallet jack, picking customer orders, and assisting with unloading and re-palletizing freight.

Typical hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Candidates should be able to lift 40–100 lbs, stand and move throughout the shift, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• Able to operate pallet jack, forklift, and/or reach truck (previous experience preferred).
• Must be able to lift 40-100 lbs frequently.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift/carry for entire shift.
• Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate an electric pallet jack to shuttle incoming freight to the proper area of the warehouse.
• Pick orders for customers of our food market.
• Assist with unloading and re-palletizing incoming freight and other general warehouse duties.
