Job summary

NEFCO in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Warehouse Receiver to handle all functions and paperwork related to receiving material into our distribution facility. The role reports to the shift Warehouse Lead or Receiving Manager and focuses on accurate receipt, documentation, and inventory placement.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 40 hours with overtime as needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma and basic computer skills, including ERP software; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use NEFCO’s ERP software system.
• Ability to use warehouse layouts for planning purposes.
• Basic computer skills (Word/Excel/Outlook a plus).
• Must have a positive, hard-working attitude.
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently with little supervision.
• Ability to multitask and communicate effectively.
• This is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Maximizes sales potential through effective procedures for receiving all products entering the warehouse.
• Verifies actual products received against packing slips.
• Confirms product integrity and places products in correct locations.
• Operates machinery including a forklift safely.
• Put away stock and route materials to proper locations using forklift, cherry picker, or sorting bins.
• Maintains cleanliness of receiving area including loading docks and trash areas.
• Communicates consistently with management and all branch personnel.

Job Duties

• Maximizes sales potential through effective and proper procedures for receiving all products entering the warehouse
• Verifying actual products received against packing slips
• Confirming product integrity and ensuring products are placed in the correct and appropriate locations
• Operating machinery including a forklift in a safe and proper manner
• Putting away stock and routing materials to proper locations using work devices such as forklift, cherry picker, or sorting bins
• Maintaining cleanliness of receiving area including loading docks and trash areas
• Communicate consistently with management, all branch personnel

Details

• Monday – Friday
• 40 hours (OT available depending on NEFCO needs)

Requirements

• Must be able to work in various climate conditions such as cold, heat, humidity for a long period of time

• This is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime.
