Job summary

Imperial Brady in Kentwood, MI is hiring a Warehouse Receiver for a day shift, Monday–Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm (or until the daily work is completed). The role includes receiving shipments, unloading trucks, scanning items, and handling receiving paperwork.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2 years of warehouse experience, and at least 1 year of receiving experience, with forklift/Cherry Picker familiarity preferred. Team collaboration is emphasized.

The Receiver inspects incoming products for damage and ensures the blocks and tiers are correct and accurately counted.

This is a DAY shift position, and the schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm, or until the daily work is completed.

You Will

• Receive shipments, unload trucks, and scan products into our system
• Handle all necessary paperwork upon shipment receipt
• Inspect all the contents for damage and volume
• Put away the product
• Assist with pulling orders
• Help with some inventory
• Work with the receiving team and collaborate, and communicate with related departments

You Have

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 2 years of warehouse experience
• 1 year of receiving experience
• Cherry Picker experience preferred
• Stand-Up/Sit-Down Forklift experience preferred
• Electric Pallet Jack experience preferred
• Great communication skills
• Ability to move/lift up to 50 pounds
