Job summary

Levy Restaurants in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Associate to join our on-site team. You will handle shipments, verify documentation, and ensure accurate recording of goods while maintaining a safe, organized receiving area.

You will operate material-handling equipment, assist with loading/unloading, and collaborate with event operations and other departments to support seamless venue operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, freight, packages, supplies, and equipment from carriers, vendors, exhibitors, and internal departments.
• Verify deliveries against bills of lading, purchase orders, delivery documents, or other receiving records.
• Inspect shipments for visible damage, shortages, or discrepancies and promptly report issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Accurately record received items and maintain receiving logs and documentation.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and trailers using appropriate equipment and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, freight, packages, supplies, and equipment from carriers, vendors, exhibitors, and internal departments.
• Verify deliveries against bills of lading, purchase orders, delivery documents, or other receiving records.
• Inspect shipments for visible damage, shortages, or discrepancies and promptly report issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Accurately record received items and maintain receiving logs and documentation.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and trailers using appropriate equipment and procedures.
• Maintain an organized warehouse, receiving area, loading dock, and storage spaces.
• Follow established procedures for freight handling, storage, inventory control, and documentation.
• Coordinate with event operations, security, engineering, housekeeping, food and beverage, exhibitors, vendors, and other departments as needed.
• Assist with inventory counts and locating materials when requested.
• Ensure materials are stored securely and in accordance with facility requirements.
• Follow all OSHA, workplace safety, fire safety, and convention center policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and promptly report hazards or unsafe conditions.
• Properly label, stage, and organize incoming freight and materials for storage or delivery.
• Deliver freight, supplies, equipment, and materials to assigned event spaces, meeting rooms, offices, loading docks, or other areas of the facility.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
