Job summary

Staffmark Group in Baton Rouge, LA is hiring a Warehouse Receiving Associate to support daily inbound operations. You will verify deliveries, inspect items, and organize storage with FIFO principles to maintain freshness and reduce waste.

• Monitor ingredient quality and food safety standards to support daily operations.
• Consolidate inventory and maintain accurate stock levels throughout the facility.

Education Requirements

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, food service, retail grocery, or a related environment.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality, organization, and accuracy.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull products and deliveries throughout the shift.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
• Able to work in cooler, freezer, storage, and receiving areas as needed.
• Capable of safely moving and organizing inventory while maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
