Job summary

Lowe's in North Port, FL seeks a Receiver/Stocker to keep the store tidy, safe, and ready for customers by receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise. You’ll unload deliveries, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and help customers with loading products.

This role is physical and fast-paced, requiring safe lifting, attention to detail, and flexibility for morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight shifts depending on store needs. Training provided and safety comes first.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience.
• 3 months forklift/power equipment experience; 6 months experience in warehouse inventory handling and stocking.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering support during projects.
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets.
• Support store operations by verifying deliveries, completing dock prep, and using equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by following proper procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping.
• Operate store equipment including scanners, balers, and other tools as needed.
• Pitch in as a team player to complete other assigned tasks.
