Job summary

Lowe's in Augusta, ME is hiring a Receiver/Stocker to help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise. You’ll unload deliveries, operate equipment, and assist customers with a friendly, professional attitude.

The role is physical, fast-paced, and may require mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight shifts based on store needs. Prior forklift or stocking experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Preference for forklift and warehouse stocking experience.
• Customer service mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering support during projects.
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets.
• Verify deliveries, complete dock prep, and use equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by following proper procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping.
• Operate store equipment including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed.
• Pitch in as a team player to complete other assigned tasks.
