Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Receiver/Stocker to keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise. You’ll unload deliveries, use equipment safely, and help customers locate items as needed.

Shifts vary include mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight based on store needs. This role is physical and fast-paced, requiring safe lifting and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 months experience operating forklift or similar equipment.
• Minimum 6 months experience in warehouse stocking/inventory handling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers and answering questions.
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight and organizing shelves.
• Verify deliveries and prepare the dock; operate pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace with proper hazardous material handling.
• Operate store equipment like scanners and Zebra phones.
• Assist in loading products and support other tasks as needed.
• Use the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed orders.
• Load delivery orders with quality and safe loading practices.
• Coordinate deliveries and resolve customer order issues.
• Communicate with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction.
• Implement Delivery Readiness best practices.
