Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Receiver/Stocker to keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. You’ll unload deliveries, handle equipment and hazardous materials safely, and make sure your area is prepped for daily success.

This part-time role is physical and fast-paced, with shifts mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight as store needs dictate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience.
• 3 months experience operating forklift/power equipment.
• 6 months experience stocking and inventory handling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering support during projects
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets
• Verify deliveries, complete dock prep, and operate equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by following proper procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping
• Operate store equipment including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed
• Pitch in as a team player to complete other assigned tasks
