Sodexo in Santa Clara, CA seeks a Stock Worker and Receiver to support warehouse operations. You’ll receive merchandise, unload, label, stock, and assist customers with order placement, working on designated shifts with a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities include verifying shipments, processing freight, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and handling goods with care. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Competenze

• 0-1 year of experience.
• May require a valid driver’s license.
• May require a forklift operation certification.

Mansioni

• Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
• Receives, lifts, moves, stores, issues, counts, sorts, weighs, and verifies items on requisitions or invoices.
• Receives and processes various incoming freight daily across perimeter buildings and according to priority.
• Compares shipments to bills of lading, invoices, or orders to verify information.
• Determines method of shipment and coordinates delivery schedules with vendors, carriers and internal teams.
• Unpacks and examines shipments, rejects damaged items, and communicates with shipper to rectify issues.
• Fills orders, issues supplies from stock and rotates stock to maintain freshness.
• Resolves delivery problems using a computerized purchasing system.
• Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
