Job summary

The Chefs’ Warehouse & Allen Brothers in Richmond, CA is seeking a Receiver to work closely with the Warehouse Manager, supporting receiving, staging, replenishing and inventory control to ensure customer orders are completed.

You will conduct physical counts, maintain clean, compliant spaces, schedule inbound freight, and document discrepancies while collaborating with teams to meet daily objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in distribution with a focus on receiving and inventory control.
• Ability to analyze and report data to management clearly.

Responsibilities

• Supports receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by coordinating policies and procedures.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with the data system.
• Maintains warehouse condition by planning layouts, inspecting equipment, and managing repairs.
• Ensures OSHA standards, cleanliness, and safety compliance in receiving docks.
• Records documentation, reports discrepancies, and supports day-to-day operations.
• Monitors inbound trucks and ensures proper receiving, stocking, and product rotation.
