Job summary

Selectemp is seeking a Warehouse Receiver for a temp-hire role in Springfield, Oregon. The position pays $19.25 per hour and runs 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with start date ASAP.

The role involves receiving, counting, inspecting, documenting, and storing shipments to maintain inventory accuracy. Ideal candidates will lift up to 50 lbs, have at least 2 years in receiving or warehouse work, and be comfortable using forklifts and warehouse software.

Qualifications

• 2 years of receiving, distribution, inventory or warehouse experience required.
• Ability to read and compare purchase orders, packing slips, labels and shipping documents.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Knowledge of weights and measurements.
• Must be accurate and efficient.
• Team player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments safely, timely and efficiently.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders, packing slips and bills of lading.
• Inspect products for damage, shortages, quality issues and incorrect items.
• Record receipts accurately in the warehouse management system.
• Label, stage, and route materials to the correct storage or department location.
• Report and help resolve shipment discrepancies with purchasing, vendors, or carriers.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and supporting documentation.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment as authorized.
• Keep receiving docks, aisles, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Follow safety procedures, inventory controls, and company policies.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, returns, and other warehouse duties as needed.
