Job summary

MITER Brands in New York is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to move freight, stock, and materials to and from storage, production areas, and loading docks, while maintaining 100% accuracy in transactions.

You will sort, label, and organize cargo, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with a team to ensure quality and on-time operations. A high school diploma and warehouse experience are preferred; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Material handling or warehouse experience preferred.
• Certified forklift operator a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move freight, stock, and materials to and from storage, production areas, and loading docks.
• Sort, stack, and organize cargo using pallets, racks, or boards.
• Label and tag containers with accurate identifying information.
• Maintain accurate records of materials handled.
• Identify and report incoming quality issues.
• Complete system transactions with a scanner or computer — 100% accuracy matters.
• Safely load and unload racks using an overhead crane.
• Manage time effectively and work independently when needed.
• Communicate clearly with the team to keep operations smooth.
• Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times.
• Support a culture of high-quality results and teamwork.
• Take on other duties as needed.
