Vistar in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Receiving Dock Attendant to oversee the receiving area, inspect deliveries, verify counts, and ensure safe, orderly storage of materials. Work week is Mon-Fri, 5am-2pm; duties include documentation, inventory entry, and assisting forklift operators.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 6–12 months warehouse experience, ability to lift 10–80 lb, and tolerance for multi-temperature environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6 - 12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled times and required overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures; keep area safe and report unsafe conditions.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards; prepare receiving area for products from trailers.
• Receive and verify items against the receiving schedule; record counts.
• Perform damage checks and take action per policy; inspect temperature-sensitive items.
• Identify, label, and store supplies; enter purchase orders in inventory system.
• Coordinate unloading and transport to staging areas; assist forklift operators.
• Perform housekeeping duties; secure equipment and complete paperwork.
