A&B Distributors in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Warehouse Receiver to accurately receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, ensuring inventory is accounted for and ready for distribution.

You will verify counts and product codes, document items in the WMS, rotate stock by expiry dates, and assist with loading. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required for this fast-paced, team-oriented role.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• 1+ year warehouse receiving experience.
• WMS experience (Encompass or other) preferred.
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to obtain PIT certification to safely operate equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and verify counts, product codes, and PO/bill of lading.
• Inspect shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Unload trucks safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Document and record received goods in the warehouse management system.
• Tag, label, and organize products in designated locations.
• Replenish the front pick line to ensure products are available for orders.
• Inspect inventory for expiration dates and rotate stock to maintain freshness.
• Assist with loading trucks as needed.
• Move trucks/vans within the warehouse as required.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of receiving/storage areas.
• Communicate with drivers and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to all safety and company compliance standards.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.

The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and processing all incoming shipments of products. This role ensures inventory is accounted for, stored properly, and ready for distribution. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and strong communication with team members.

• Inspect shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Unload trucks safely and efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid Driver's license with clean driving record
• 1+ years of warehouse receiving experience
• WMS experience (Encompass or other Warehouse Management Systems) preferred
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Ability to obtain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification to safely operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Physical Demands:

This role requires regular standing, walking and reaching. Must be able to regularly lift and move products ranging from 25 to 170 pounds, as well as climb, reach, and perform other physical movements necessary to carry out the essential duties of the position. Work is performed in a warehouse environment where steel-toed footwear is required.
