Job summary

Rugby Architectural Building Products is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Alabama. You will unload trucks, move materials, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Forklift operation is a regular part of the day, and certification is a plus.

The role emphasizes safety and efficient material handling in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will lift heavy items, follow established safety procedures, attend meetings, and contribute to accurate order fulfillment.

• Lift heavy items (up to 50–100 pounds) repeatedly to store and load onto trucks.

Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 26 branches throughout the United States. Our primary business is non-structural architectural grade building products sold principally to customers who create and produce end-products for the commercial, industrial, retail, residential and institutional markets. (In New Century, KS, Lebanon, TN, and Rockford, IL – we do business as: Olathe Millwork, Warren Brothers, River City Millwork respectfully.)

Position:

We are growing and seeking a Warehouse Associate! The Warehouse Associate is responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, to include receiving, unloading, and storing material, as well as picking and loading product for our customer orders.

Your Day-to-Day:

to crush it in our warehouse, you'll need to:

• Offload trucks with materials from our vendor, and load trucks with product to ship to our customers.
• Will operate a forklift regularly; forklift operator experience and certification is a plus!
• Ensure that material loaded for delivery matches customer orders.
• Work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies
• Lift extremely heavy, awkward products (up to 50-100 pounds with a helper) repeatedly to store and load onto a truck.
