Job summary

Rexel USA in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Warehouse Project Lead to oversee daily will call operations, manage staff, and serve as the primary contact for will call customers. You will coordinate project-based orders, ensure returns are processed, and maintain a clean, organized will call area.

Responsibilities include scanning orders into Docushare, ensuring accuracy, and upholding confidentiality and company policies with urgency and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • High School or GED is required; associate degree preferred.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklift.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Strong time management, organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily project fulfillment operations and direct staff.
  • Interface with management and quality manager to meet goals.
  • Transact will call order pickups and pickups processing.
  • Handle returns and exchanges in the will call area.
  • Maintain will call area housekeeping and stock levels.
  • Scan all will call orders into Docushare.
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
  • Be adaptable, organized, and focused under pressure.

Job Description

We are looking for a Warehouse Project Lead to join our Talley team in Lenexa, KS!

Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Project Lead is to assist management through oversight and direction of day to day will call operations, including being the primary contact for all will call customers, transacting will call orders, returns, housekeeping of the will call area, and picking all will call orders. Responsibilities also include ensuring will call waiting area is neatly organized and stocked, Project based customer orders are organized accordingly, and the overall function of will call is smooth.

What You’ll Do:
  • Oversee daily project fulfillment operations, and if needed with Project based accounts, directs staff, manages training, monitors performance and works for improvement
  • With regards to Project based accounts, interfaces with management and quality manager to ensure processes and procedures are being followed, goals and objectives are being met and customer being supported
  • Transacting will call order pickups
  • Handling product returns and exchanges over the counter; working with the Inventory Control
  • Specialist with RGA's ensuring product that is returned is in re-sellable condition
  • Daily housekeeping of all the will call area
  • Picking will call orders
  • Confirming daily all will call orders
  • Scanning all will call orders into Docushare
  • Continued daily help with overall warehouse functions
  • Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information as required by the Company
  • Display strong work ethic and honesty and adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Engage work with a high sense of urgency and be highly organized and detail oriented
  • Be open to change and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations

  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklift, re-roll equipment and office equipment including personal computers and software including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • This position requires people skills, a strong goal orientation, superior time management skill and work ethic, and ability to direct staff and work cohesively with peers.
