Job summary

Global Water Technology (GWT) is seeking a Warehouse & Production Technician to handle logistics for receiving, processing, storing, and shipping inventory in our Richmond, CA facility. You will assist production with chemical product handling, transfers, and batch making while supporting a safe, efficient warehouse environment.

The role emphasizes forklift-assisted loading, order preparation, and inventory checks, with potential off-hours support for peak needs.

Qualifications

• This is an entry to intermediate level position. Relevant industry experience will be considered.
• Forklift training and experience is preferred but not required. (Certification & Training Provided)
• High school graduation or GED required; preference will be given to a candidate with college experience.
• Cross functionality is a necessary part of this position.
• The successful candidate will contribute to the overall friendly, hardworking culture that GWT has established.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness are a must.
• The successful candidate for this position must pass a drug screening and background check.
• Must be able to communicate in English and ability to read proficiently in English.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Shipping and receiving responsibilities
• Using forklift to load and unload trucks as well as move products around the warehouse as instructed
• Preparing orders for shipment / picking and palletizing customer orders
• Basic inventory management such as checking raw material and finished good inventory quantities and reporting to manager
• Housekeeping and cleanliness duties / responsible for maintaining clean & organized environment
• Stage orders for next day of deliveries
• Chemical handling such as chemical transfers and batch making
