Position Summary
The Warehouse Production Supervisor leads and supports a team of warehouse associates with a primary focus on order picking, shipping, and auditing. This role ensures all operations are executed safely, accurately, and efficiently, while fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture. The supervisor is responsible for meeting daily production goals, supporting inventory accuracy, and driving continuous improvement in processes and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion a safety-first culture by modeling and reinforcing safe work practices.
- Supervise and coordinate daily order picking operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Oversee shipping and audit processes to maintain quality control and customer satisfaction.
- Provide daily supervision, guidance, and support to warehouse team members.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching, training, and development to drive productivity and accuracy.
- Communicate company policies, procedures, and goals clearly and consistently.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement corrective actions to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth end-to-end order processing.
- Address and resolve conflicts constructively and respectfully.
- Promote a culture of excellence, inclusion, and mutual respect.
- Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and bin audits as needed.
- Operate all warehouse equipment, including forklifts and turret trucks, as required to support operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Report operational challenges and personnel issues to management promptly.
- Recognize positive behaviors and provide constructive feedback.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team success.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Manage daily team schedules, assignments, and workflows.
Conduct regular performance evaluations with a focus on development and feedback.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Minimum two years of related experience in warehouse or production operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Skills & Competencies:
